AATR Couple {Danielle & Grant}
We are thrilled to introduce this beautiful AATR couple {Danielle & Grant}! With this couples good look and Concept Photography doing their engagement sessions, you can’t go wrong! We asked Danielle & Grant to answer a few questions about their upcoming June wedding at The Abbey!!
1.Can you tell us the story of how the 2 of you met? How did he pop the question?
Grant and I met through mutual friends on St. Patrick’s day two years ago. He proposed to me out in San Francisco. We were heading out there for his cousins wedding in Sanoma county and decided to take a couple of days before hand to explore the city. I had no idea he was going to propose it was a complete surprise! We always travel light only using a carry on for our trips it didn’t hit me until after the proposal but I remember him being very nervous about our suitcases being two rows up and not directly in our eyesight. ( little did I know the ring was in it) lol. so we head to San Francisco and decide to go to this famous Irish Coffee spot called the Buena Vista its in the heart of Ghirardelli square with a gorgeous view of the San francisco bridge and Alcatraz. He told me that the sunset on the pier was supposed to be beautiful and that we wouldn’t have time to see it other than right now because of all the things that we had planned.So we rushed down to this pier you could see everything all of San francisco the golden gate bridge and Alcatraz. I remember him looking at me and then getting down on one knee and asked me to make him the happiest man in the world. I said yes and thankfully there was a young women who saw the whole thing so we were able to get a picture right after the proposal. Grant had asked my father for permission before hand and well the rest is history. It was by far the most incredible moment in my life.
2. Why did you choose to get married at Knowles Chapel & The Abbey? Is there any significance to the date you chose?
The date really was just so I could get Knowles chapel and The Abbey together so the date has no significance and with The Abbey I wanted to have that whole red carpet old Hollywood feel and I think the abbey is perfect for that also a big factor was because it had wood floors that was a huge factor me. I hate carpet lol.
3. What has been the most difficult part about planning your wedding?
I would say the most difficult part about planning a wedding is trying to picture everything together. I was never one of those girls who had it all planned out so this is very difficult for me. I’m slowly but surely chipping away at it though:)
4. Why did you hire An Affair to Remember?
I chose an affair to remember because I want to have the assurance that I will be able to enjoy my day and not worry about anything going wrong. Also having someone that is knowledgeable about the industry helps out a lot.
